Position Summary
The Office in Charge is responsible for supervising, controlling, formulating and overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of the warehouse and transport operations as well as providing directions to his/her subordinates. He/She shall also ensure to maintain the overall safety and security of all company properties and personnel. Moreso, the OIC is tasked to ascertain proficiency in all aspects encompassing warehousing and distribution operations including but not limited to the proper implementation of the company’s prescribed rules and regulations.
Essential Duties
Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.Implementing operational policies and procedures.Implementing and overseeing security operations.Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.Ensuring the safety of staff.Motivating and disciplining staff.Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles.Assisting with deliveries where required.
Other Duties & Responsibilities (Optional)
Responds to internal and external customers’ inquiries with utmost courtesy at all times and ensure all orders are logged on the monitoring logbook. Manages orders from the sales/customers and/or distributors via Viber or call, Fax or, E-mail. Ensure completeness of process for all placed P.O. and ascertain all necessary documents are prepared. Coordinates with key personnel of different departments to secure a swift serving of orders. Ensure Open Communication with all stakeholders including but not limited to Sales, Accounting, and delivery Personnel to address challenges and potential problems. Regularly and promptly interact with the discussions, especially on pressing issues highlighted in the operations. Submit Pertinent Reports every after Closing Day of the operations, validate the correctness of the reports provided and resolve all impending matters urgently as possible. Manage promptly all administrative concerns of the branch.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of warehouse management experience. Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures. Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls. Proficient computer skills.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. Strong people skills.Available to work extended hours.
