Position Summary
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the warehouse stocks are properly accounted, documented and reported. S/he manages inventory items and control the day-to-day inventory operations while implementing the company agreed-upon inventory control protocol. S/he maintains and improves inventory by analyzing statistics and determining products that sell and which are not and under-performing. He/She works to help the organization’s management navigate inventory purchases, resource allocation and to forecast future sales and his/her goal is to minimize loss of sales. He/She provides suggested inventory order replenishments, track shipments, and communicate availability to various stakeholders. Moreso, He/She is expected to perform thorough study on various inventory-related data, including historical inventory reports and demand trends. Finally, S/he closely coordinates to buyers and stock workers and perform regular inventory counts.
Essential Duties
- Managing inventory items

- Controlling day-to-day inventory operations
- Determining and directing where the inventory needs to go
- Using statistics to determine which products are selling and which are under-performing
- Developing plans to ensure smooth product flow
- Placing and tracking inventory orders
- Working with project managers to maximize sales and reduce overstocks
- Coordinating to the supply chain network
- Managing any inventory adjustments and transfers
- Documenting inventory discrepancies
- Preparing and maintaining inventory reports
- Analyzing the root cause of inventory issues and providing solutions
- Suggesting improvements to inventory control
Other Duties & Responsibilities
- Sorting inventory historical records and establishing dynamic demand trends of the business
- Aligning to buyers on stocks’ replenishments and directing warehouse workers.
- Performing regular inventory counts.
- Drafting inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
- Responds to customers’ inquiries both internal and external with utmost courtesy at all times and ensure all are acted promptly and properly resolve
- Ensure Open Communication with DC Head, and Warehouse workers on inventory concerns
- Proactively interacts to queries pertaining to inventory updates and status
- Submits Reports every after closing Day; confirms the correctness of the of the inventory reports
- Helps facilitates in non-after-sales returns(outright/canceled) orders for complete inventory accounting
- Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control.
- Coordinating with other workers to resolve discrepancies between inventory and revenue
- Performs other tasks that maybe assign by immediate superior from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Male/Female
- 1-2 Years inventory management experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience with databases and spreadsheets is an advantage
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to details, mathematical calculations, and multi-tasking skills.
