Position Summary:
To lead the team assigned to in developing new accounts within assigned territories, with a clear set of growth targets to achieve and maintain and grow revenue from existing accounts.
The ideal candidate should be a tenacious, results-oriented sales professional, with a passion for nurturing strong relationships with his team, distributors and customers. Passionate about the industry and possess excellent communication skills.
Success in this position will require a positive attitude, great time management, strong work ethic and a passion to build solid and sustainable relationships with distributors and customers.
Essential Duties:
- Develop the strategy to increase commercial sales across agreed areas of best effort.
- Drive new business directly from customers. Identify and develop effective and scalable channel partners based in respective territories for building robust sales pipelines.
- Oversee and manage a team of Business Development Officers who are given/develop a portfolio of assigned accounts.
- Accountable for guiding the assigned team in owning all aspects of the sales cycle, whilst consistently generating pipeline to meet and/or exceed quota set.
- Create and maintain all major customer deliverables (proposals, statements of work, etc.) to provide over-the-top customer service and support.
- Understand the value proposition of our Lubricants and Motorcycle Tire products and more to productively communicate all offerings to all stakeholders and decision makers.
- Continuously keep abreast of industry and market trends, whilst building strong knowledge in our products and services.
- Drive business cadence for weekly team meetings on customer pipeline developments and updates, opportunities review, customer account reviews, etc.
- Manage, support and develop assigned BDOs to ensure that they are aligned with the overall objective and able to grow the lubricant/MCT business in their assigned areas.
- Initiate tactics to accelerate the adoption of PPCAs lubricant/MCT brands to new customers, dealers and distributors.
- Provide product expertise and support to our customers, create and manage the partner network, establish the performance criteria and manage the partner result.
- Utilize understanding and familiarity of the assigned area market to identify competitive offerings, potential clients, key accounts and distributors.
- Participate in group and team cadences to ensure communication, coordination and alignment of event and strategy
